Benue State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps has arrested two suspects in possession of a fire arms in Kwande local government area of the state following useful information.

This arrest is coming after a community in same locality was attacked on Christmas day leaving several people dead, injured and property destroyed by suspected bandits.

Parading the suspects, the Corps command public relations officer, Micheal Ejelikwu said the suspects would be prosecuted after investigation has been concluded.while assuring the public that they will leave no stone unturned those behind crime and criminality are brought to book.

While thanking the BENUE state government for supporting the command with vehicles and motorcycles to boost its operations, observed that during the yuletide the command made about fifteen arrests involving illegal mining. Critical assets and other sundry crimes.
